Academic Achievements

I was initially set to graduate with the class of 2026 but after skipping 6th and 12th grades, I am to graduate two years early — at the age of 16 — as a senior with the class of 2024.

I have been honored to be among the top 25 in a class of over 850 since my sophomore year.

I was inducted into the National Honors Society in fall of 2023 for embodying their requirements to be generous, responsible, honorable, and a servant leader to my community.

I was recognized as a “Social Justice Advocate” at a school board meeting on November 15, 2023. The award is given to a student who demonstrates “outstanding commitment to inclusionary, justice-centered work.”

I have been in speech and debate; Latin club for my high school team, the Indiana Junior Classical League, and the National Junior Classical League; Women in Business; Student Alliance for Equity; Ladies First; Students Demand Action (founder and president); Business Professionals of America; journalism and school media productions (NCHS Live); and a National Honors Society member.

My partner and I entered into a News Broadcast Production competition with BPA or Business Professionals of America. We won second place for the regional competition and are on our way to the state competition.

During my sophomore year I created a short documentary. This was the first documentary I have created and was scored well for my required Panther Exploration Project.

I have gotten a total of 9 student of the months over the course of the past three years. I got three from social studies, two from science, three from English, and one from math.
